Three causes · One healthier digital future
Thank You, Mr Zuckerberg

Put your money where your attention is

Three causes worth your attention.

The book diagnoses the problem. These organizations are doing the slower, harder work of changing what comes next — protecting young people, challenging harmful systems, and making technology answer to the people who use it.

Molly Rose Foundation

Preventing suicide and online harm

Safer online spaces can save young lives.

The Molly Rose Foundation was established after the death of 14-year-old Molly Russell. It works to prevent suicide among people under 25 and to protect children and young people from harmful online content.

Its work combines public education, practical support for families and schools, and determined advocacy that holds technology companies, government, and regulators to account for the safety of the spaces they shape.

Donations help fund awareness campaigns, online-safety education, and crisis-support tools such as Help Cards for young people who need an immediate route to support.

Center for Humane Technology

Technology that serves humanity

Change the incentives, not just the settings.

The Center for Humane Technology works to ensure that powerful technologies — including social media and artificial intelligence — serve humanity instead of exploiting human attention for growth at any cost.

It explains how the technology ecosystem works, equips policymakers and technologists with practical insight, and pushes for interventions that shift the incentives behind harmful design. Its public work includes education, policy advocacy, and the Your Undivided Attention podcast.

Donations support independent research and expert work that helps leaders steer AI and social platforms toward public benefit rather than profit alone.

5Rights Foundation

Children’s rights by design

Childhood should not be the cost of connection.

5Rights Foundation works for a digital world where children can participate creatively, knowledgeably, and fearlessly. It argues that privacy, safety, development, agency, and participation must be built into digital services from the start.

Working with young people, 5Rights produces research, policy, legislation, and technical standards that hold companies accountable. Its work helped shape the Age Appropriate Design Code and now extends to the design of AI systems used by children.

5Rights accepts no funding from technology companies. Donations preserve that independence and help bring children’s own voices into decisions made by governments and industry.

Attention is finite.
Generosity needn’t be.
